Mate of mine has come off in Keswick after a possible collision with a 3rd party who may or may not have legged it. Was found in the road unconscious with broken ribs, shattered vertebrae, collapsed lung.
Clearly accidents happen, he'll be out of action for a while so any advice would be great. Are ctc a good start for some good advice on dealing with stuff like this? Don't know if he has extra cover or stuff via homes insurance. Would like to be able to offer his missus some good advice!

If you don't know who was involved there's no way to pursue them. If you have an id for the other person then that's a start but witnesses (or maybe cctv if he's very lucky) would really really help
