Want to try and set up a tubeless wheelset for some winter CX riding and have a set of giant xc2s (off an anthem) and maddux cx2.0s (off a CAADX) to have a go with. I'll use a tubeless ready tyre - anyone have good experiences with these rims?
Neither are tubeless ready, but that doesn't seem to be an issue with certain rims?
I have a set of Maddux 3.0, and with 1 wrap of Gaffer tape they are now tubeless.
I should have added (trying to respond during a conference call) that I am using Vittoria tubeless tyres. They have been sealed and airtight all weekend, even being bounced over cobble edges the Romans would be ashamed of!
