After many years of riding a 2007 Kona PhD Gentleman's commute conversion (mud guards, rack, Easton risers) that was just too small for me (49cm) my lovely wife has bought me a 2015 Kona Jake in 56cm and its fits lovely.
I often found myself with my hands on the ends of the bars so I had been looking for a cheap second hand CX bike in my size. I am really enjoying riding on drop bars for the first time in around 30 years, though I am still getting used to climbing out of the saddle with my weight that far forward. I am sure this will come pretty soon.

Ok, so this is effectively a stealth tyre pressure thread I know that a lot of roadies ride with around 100 psi in their tyres, and MTB is sub 30 psi (mine at 25 ish).

What pressures do you run in your knobbly CX tyres?

Initially I was going to swap out the knobblies for chubby slicks but I am really enjoying getting the bike muddy so going to stick with what it came with until they wear out even though the majority of riding will be on the road. I started at 50 psi, which felt about right as I am an MTB rider predominantly, increased to 60 psi which felt a little more efficient but lacking confidence in tarmac corners on the knobblies.
