I usually just double wrap my bar tapes, just wondered if there is anything a little more robust.
I have found the specialized rubbery stuff to be good, but cant seem to find that anymore.
Any other alternatives?
Thanks
I like the texture of the Cinelli Gel Cork Stuff
Feels nice, soft and grippy all in one
heard lizard skins do a 2.5mm supposed to be good. I got LBS to fit their chunkiest stuff, also cinelli but dunno what model, nice, a lot better than the oem stuff
i just put a bit of old tape under the wrap on the tops and in the curve of the drops

are these for people that don't remember how bad Grab-On drop-bar grips were/are? 😉
ESI are prototyping actual tape as opposed to the horrible tube Grab On things. If you like the MTB grips (and I do) it's pretty awesome. I got sent some pre production stuff and I'm very impressed.
specialized roubaix tape comes in thick plus gel pads. though think their s works tape is nicer.. but no gel
both widely available.
Either double wrap the bars or I put old mtb grips under the tape on he tops
As above I have cut an old pair of esi thin grips to put under tape. I wouldn't mind trying the esi tape.
contador has double wrap on his bike.
