Anyone know what's open and where the diversions are? Is there a DH race this weekend?

Cheers

There’s the first round of the BDS series there this weekend.

Trails are open (well apart from the main DH one anyway).

I rode this morning - expect:

to park at least a mile or so away, carpark is closed.

Spectators on the first climb and last descent of Twrch looking for vantage points.

If you cheat climbs on the Forrest drives an endless stream of land rovers who aren’t hanging about.

not to get near the cafe.

also the sit-down toilets are backed up and out of paper.

If if you want to gawp at the race it’s not a bad dual purpose ride, if you want to just ride in peace I’d go elsewhere.

Thanks PJay,  we normally park in Crosskeys, so that's ok. Is all of Cafall open?

Maybe go to the Wye Valley instead and deal with the mud.

I think the top of Cafal is still closed. By the look of it from the other side it’s going to be horrific when it does reopen.

Barring the diversion at the top end of Cafell the rest of the trail is open, as is Pedalhounds DH. I rode both yesterday. Surprisingly dry.
