Cwm Carn if you are travelling a similar distance to get there.

CwmCarn is probably better, but you pretty much do all the up in one go and alot of the down in one go.

If your a beginner or prefer up and down and few flat bits in between Cannock might be a more enjoyable ride.

Personally I've never really enjoyed CwmCarn might be to do with a Student race I did they a couple of years ago and it rained the whole time.

Cannock. Cwmcarn is full of Shandy drinkers from That London clogging up the trail

😉

Unless you're doing Stile Cop then Cannock is pretty boring. I'd go to Cwmcarn.

Done Cannock numerous times and Cwmcarn once, I like Cannock but Cwmcarn was a notch up I thought.

Seriously: I think I prefer Cannock. Cwmcarn seemed to be 1 big climb (quite good) and then nothing too amazing to me. The last descent is nothing special in my book. Cannock might not have the altitude but with the new black bits on the Monkey I reckon it's a great lap.

For DH Cwmcarn wins though!
