Me and a mate are doing a day on the Cwmcarn uplift next sunday on DH bikes. We plan to take the XC bikes and catch the last lift up and do the XC dh section at the end of the day - How much good stuff do we miss by doing this or from the top of the DH track is that all of the XC routes decending?

The next part of the plan was to head to Afan on the monday and do one of the XC loops then finish with the new bike park in the afternoon. My mate isn't much of a climber and we prefer good decents so which XC route should we go for?

Sorry for that rabble, it made sense to me!

Do the Wall at Afan. Not a huge amount of Climbing, but head over and do Energy and Windy point at the top of Glyncorrwg, then come back and do the bike part after you finish the 'Graveyard ' section of the Wall. Great day out.
