My guess is it'd be fine. In Cardiff it's been pretty warm.

Prolly ok in the woods but in Cardiff today it was so warm I could see my breath all day!

Was there today, wouldn't bother as it's a mixture of ice and slush which just drags all momentum out of you and offers no traction.I turned back just into the last big climb, mates carried on to the top and decided i'd made the better decision.

hmmm i'm planning to go too. Is it really not worth going? It's a trail centre and they're usually weather proof.

It's not as weather resistant as Afan that's for sure.

I reckon you're brave to try it after the recent weather. 😆

Pansies, the lot of you! There's no such thing as bad weather. Just the wrong clothes. Put a coat on and LIVE!

I went today and found it a right old slog. Took an hour and half to get the freeride section which is shut. The long and usually easily ridable path leading to the freeride section was just compacted snow and there was no traction at all - it was quicker to walk!

ok, i think i'll give it a miss. Don't mind snow or rain but if the trails themselves aren't great then it's not worth the drive and toll.

I did it yesterday as well. Yes it has a good covering of slushy, compacted snow and yes it is near impossible to ride on BUT i enjoyed the challenege of trying to stay in the previous ridrs channel (Its the only place you will get the momentum needed to keep moving). Its not a long trail and technical level is non existent imo but i found myself considering doing another lap as it was very warm, no wind even on the top and the second half flowed really nicely. I dont agree with your pals that you made the right decision to turn back. It made a reletively simple trail ride into a much more interesting challenge.

motocross bikes are not allowed Hobo, for us mortals it is not quite that easy

Pretty much any trail centre trail is easy if you ride slow enough 😉
