Looking at the map on the Facebook page it seems like its only the top section that's affected ? Can you still ride the part of the trail not in the "restricted access" or is it a total closure?
Cheers

Judging by the post from the Welsh Ranger on facebook its just the top section thats unrideable and the rest of it can still be accessed. It won't be worth riding alone for a while and will be needed to be done in conjuection with the Twrch in my opinion. Lcukily the map is pretty good and the fireroads mean its easy enough to traverse between both!

Still rideable. You just divert before the quadzilla climb and miss the hideout and rocky valley sections. Definitely still worth riding.

The rest is open, and at least before it rained on Monday was absolutely perfect last weekend.

I've got used to skipping 'Initiation' and taking the fireroad chicken-run instead, that was still open at the weekend, but it might be being used by machinery mid-week.

As GolfChick said you might find it a bit short as it is - our usual route it trail from the centre, skip 'Initiation' because I'm fat and old and it's hard and into Quadzilla, follow the trail till the end of Powder House, then back up the Forest Drive and into Twrch.

Quadzilla diversion was still in place yesterday due to forestry work. Anyone know when it opens fully?
