Are mud tyres necessary at either CwmCarn or Afan? A few of us are off there in a couple of weeks and I am wondering about tyre choice? I'm either going with High Rollers or Swamp Things.
As they are man made I am guessing that they wont get properly muddy so normal High Rollers will be fine. Am I right?

edit: Saying that, I've not ridden Cwmcarn for ages, but Afan doesn't require mud tyres.
edit: When asking a question it's best to make it clear whether you're asking: a) Are mud tyres necessary? or b) I don't think I'll need mud tyres, am I right?
