Are there likely to be any problems getting to cwmcarn Sunday from the M4 with the velothon road closures?
It looks, from the leaflet that came through my door recently, like the link road from the M4, jct28, up to Bassaleg will be closed from 8:00 until 16:40. Alternative routes are possible, but a bit convoluted.
I'm going today, although I'm sure that doesn't help you much!
Thanks for the info - looks like I can get off at the earlier junction and head up through Risca then. Hopefully they won't close the roads behind me so I don't get stuck there all day

You can always park up at the top end of Cwmbran and come in over the top of the hill. Check out the map, it is pretty obvious where to go
