ordered a new hope back brake from CRC a couple of months ago and just got round to fitting it
good news is they sent one with braided hose
bad news is its way too long. whats the best way to cut the hose

be quick with the olive before the wire braid expands
its an art to get the olive on, i wouldnt recommend cutting to final length until you have mastered it, or if indeed if you do get the olive on before final length is cut, just cut the clear plastic sheath back to length you want, then slide the olive up, and cut the exposed braid to the length you want
