Anyone know what the conditions are like, and can guess after the bit of rain we are having at the moment what it will be like tomorrow.

I haven't done it before any fancy doing it from Langsett, looking like there will be a good side wind but sunny day tomorrow.

it could it be better then a trail centre!!!!!!!!

I was up there on Friday - in the rain - the top section is very wet and boggy at the moment and will only be worse now with all these storms rolling through. 95% of the trail from the Langsett side is rocky and will fine though, it's just that top bit.

If it was wet on Friday it will be worse now. Just had three rolling thunderstorms Chesterfield way so cut gate will be getting the same I imagine. I've done it once and it was mostly dry but the top section would be a demoralising slog if it's a bog, which it will be.

It'll probably be pretty wet, worth keeping off it when it's wet to preserve it as much as ensuring you have a good time. Have a look at Keeper of the Peak on twitter to see if there have been any updates from someone that's ridden it today 🙂

Storms rolling through one after the other at the moment, it'll be grim and you'll be causing damage. I'd give it a wide berth.

Very wet , Its been lumping it down for the last 2 hours, just over the hill in Glossop, with more to come I fear

it was hammering it down in Sheffield this evening. I assume it's the same weather system that stevedoc had in Glossop so it'll have turned the top of Cut Gate into a mud bath. I love Cut Gate when it's dry or frozen but it's far from weather-proof.
