Hi all,

Have a Stanton Sherpa mk1 due some love, so planning to repaint it, pockets don’t run deep enough for the Stanton in house service, so it’ll be a spray.bike rattle can job. Have a rough plan in my head for how I want it to look, but will require spraying the logos as opposed to using decals (want to do the same with the fork lowers too) does anyone know where I’d be able to get custom vinyl transfers for masking made up for Stanton logos and Manitou logos? Google didn’t prove too helpful! Thanks in advance 🙂

Retro decals aka Gil off here may be able to help.

Make sure you use low tack masking film rather than regular vinyl as I should imagine regular decal vinyl will lift spray.bike off
I produced my own vectors and bought my own masking film (oramask 813) then had the local sign shop run it through their plotter.
I will say I was a little disappointed by the residue the oramaskeft behind on my Montana gold colour coat but it cleaned of with elbow grease and window cleaner well enough before sanding and the 2k topcoats.

Brilliant - thanks both for the advice! Will get in touch with retro decals and see where we go.
Thanks for the advice BearBack, have a feeling the process is going to be a lot of trial and error, any advice that reduces the latter is much appreciated!

Or there's Lucy at indiprint or indibike, she's done a lot of custom work for me and it's always been great.

Hard tail wales I have low tack film if you want some cutting out. If you have high res pics of what you want I can sort it no problems.
Cheers sadexpunk!!

Find a local powder coater, it should work out a chunk cheaper than the Stanton price and will last!
