Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of Marino bikes ? Particularly the new custom full suss 29er? Is it likely to be any good or a dog?

I heard they retain moisture really badly and you have to be careful not to use hot water to wash them.

They don't smell though.

There's a steel is real Facebook page with a few owners on there.

I've considered this myself as I love the idea of a frame to fit me without breaking the bank.

I believe he's responsible for a sick bikes co.  Frame too.

I wouldn't expect a PP Shan or Cotic quality frame for the money though

Any more feedback on the Marino FS frames?

Kind of considering a hard trail/ light enduro FS but having trouble to find a model on the market which gathers everything I want.

Experiences of Marino are very variable.

Try this guy instead?

Reviews have all been good from people I know who have had them.

There are a LOT of these on the SteelIsRealMTB FB group. People seem pleased.

To sum up FB.

Several people have the Marino FS and are really pleased with them. And in my opinion they look great too.

Early Marino bikes were hit and miss, current ones are much better.
