You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
As I love my frame (which is no longer made) I've decided to get it resprayed rather than replace (it's looking a bit tatty and I fancy a change).
So I've go the sprayer sorted and I've contacted Slik graphics about what decals I want doing, but I seem to remember another popular graphics printer used by many on here, but can't for the life of me think who it was...
Ta muchly.
invisiframe do graphics. Have been impressed with the ones I've had, and will be using them again
I’d avoid Slik unless you either want ignored/endless promises 🙁
Try Crawford
Slik have been superb for me. D Ont use indiprint though who I had to raise a paypal claim against to get a refund after 3 weeks.
Always had good service from Slik too. Can't ever argue against going to Crawfy though
Slight curve ball but have you considered forgoing original decals?
I struggled finding anywhere to print up some Genesis decals for my Fortitude so decided to go with some of these:
https://www.allmountainstyle.com/collections/ams-honeycomb-frame-guards-xl-size
The black outline on clear looks great on my freshly refinished frame.
Granted not to everyones tastes or wants but they protect too!
invisframe look good. I need to decide If it's worth spending £29.99 to avoid mismatched rims. OCD hell for me
I've found Slik good for the off the shelf desgins where you just pick the colours. Quick turn around and superb quality. However, I have asked for custom work over the years from Slik, but they never get back to me.
Ive has great comms/proofs sent through from here http://www.nldesigns.eu
yet to purchase yet though.
Ive resprayed an old Trek Slash and I got custom decals done by 678customs (search them on instagram). He bascially did whatever I wanted - havent got any photos yet as still finishing the build but well happy with the price and quality.
I would thoroughly recommend Stickers Decals Graphics: https://stickersdecalsgraphics.co.uk/
They are doing stickers for world cup bikes.
They have produced various stickers for me when requested, often from scratch
eg. the graphics for my Dartmoor shine all custom sizes etc as Dartmoor could only supply a PDF of their main logo. They are all in glitter vinyl, looks wicked in the sun

However, I have asked for custom work over the years from Slik, but they never get back to me.
They've been on here to explain this in the past. Basically they deal with folk who have committed to spending with them (there's a category on the site for custom stuff iirc) and just get to others when they can
Thanks for all the replies,
Spoke to Slik yesterday and supplied images and description of what I want - not having stock decals but custom made.
Waiting to hear back. If no joy I will certainly refer back to this and keep trying.
Is that the same Crawford who appeared back in MBUK back in the day?
Yeah
Gil from bikeshed.co.uk
Also known as Retrodecals on Facebook - sales@retrodecals.co.uk
I believe Gil is a decent chap capable of more old skool decals for example MERLIN metalworks etc.
Most of my work is around restoration work, late 80's-2000 but also do short run work for several of the UK frame companies and more than happy to quote on bespoke work, check out the FB page if you're interested
Just thought I'd offer some feedback on what I found. Slik won't be getting any more requests from me, sent pictures and clear descriptions and after the initial contact, nothing, despite them saying they'd get back to me.
Couple of others (FB) acknowledged the details I'd sent them, told me they would get back to me with a price and never did - also off my 'future' list.
Powder shack gave me a price for respray only but don't do the decals as well, shame as it was a good price too.
Luckily, a fairly new LBS has opened up in my Town called Whips and Berms, affiliated to Dirty Customs who do respray AND decals so I'm now booked in with them for a great price.
Thanks for all the suggestions on here folks!
