Looking at a frame bag to go on my bandit for an adventure this summer.

Anyone got experience of both? I'm preferring the clouded leopard from Wildcat as it'll fit around the shock on my bandit.

I'm completely biased, but Wildcat are fantastic. Run by Ian and Beth and Ian is a STW forum member.
He's currently in Finland for the Rovaniemi 150 Artic Circle race.

Beth will be able to get the bag fitting around your shock no problem.

Don't discount buggy bags, they've made two custom ones for me over the years and they were top notch and a lot less than alpkit / wildcat.

I have a Wildcat Bag
My mate has an Alpkit bag

When we compared side to side my Wildcat bag is better made and lighter, his Alpkit bag was cheaper.

Both are good though.

(my next purchase will be Wildcat again though)

My Alpkit Fuel Pod seems a really solid piece of kit - sturdier/thicker material than I was expecting. I'm not keeping it as I've decided a bumbag ( 😥 ) works better for what I carry, but its a decent piece of kit I think.

Hey Tiger6791,

Why was the Wildcat bag better made? Just out of interest, as we aim to make our bags to the highest quality and usually they are lighter for the same size bag?

Any questions on Alpkit framebags, fire away ...
