Is anyone using these and used rimpact original v1?

do they offer a similar amount of damping as the rimpacts?

also any issues with being xc on 30mm internal rims and 2,4 / 2,5 maxxis tyres?

I’ve no direct experience, but I have heard of people using them in larger tyres, and they work, but don’t provide as much sidewall support. Can’t help more than that I’m afraid.

Thanks Kramer - yeah I’ve seen a few reports of this too but was hoping someone’s used them as a similar setup and not experienced too much of a down side whilst still gaining the damped feeling they give

I’ve got the cushcore xc, never used any other insert so nothing to compare.

seem good to me, not had a puncture since, was regularly trashing tyres before. Set up on 28 I think rims, DHr and assegia exo.

I think the issue people have said that enduro 2,4/2,5 tyres don’t sit very well with the xc but then other people like yourself run them and no issues at all

I might take a punt on some I miss the damped feeling of the old rimpacts I run but they have changed now and weigh as much as a cc xc
