I'm really feeling cursed at the moment with my kit.
Since the beginning of the year I've had:
Hope light battery give up after 5 years.
New Exposure Maxx-D randomly, changing modes as I'm riding along, or standing still. Return, switch replaced, same thing. I got a new one after that.
X Stages power meters have battery issues, one a 2nd Gen that supposedly didn't have battery issues
Track pump give up
Saddle on my MTB break
Wear on the Kashima coating on my forks, one 1 year old uppers that were replaced last year.
After a year of no punctures, 2 rear cuts in the tread in a month, both going down hill at speed. The first ended up with me walking out and calling the wife, fixed the second one last night with a tubeless repair worm.
After the first puncture, I had to change the tyre, a barely worn Racing Ralph as it would not re-seat tubeless. It was already loose, with 3 layers of tape, but after removing it to fix the hole, it would NOT seat, even with 110psi in a 2lt bottle inflater.
Its starting to get a bit old now.
