As the nights are drawing in at alarming rate and my current light is non operational.
What is the current go to light for price and performance?
I'm talking of off road super bright not on road be seen kind.
I've recently bought these
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B018K3O23Y/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=569136327&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00M6XWLQA&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=H3KQXSJPJW08E1VQ23KP
They were only £17 so I thought they would be worth a punt, others seem crazy money! I've used them once and they were more than bright enough for me off road, too bright according to a bloke I passed who was out catching Pokemon 😉
Going off Amazon i'm hoping they don't have a charger that wants to catch fire like the cheaper ebay ones.
It depends on your budget.
Anything from Hope Exposure or Lumicycle will be very good and last and have good warranty service.
Mtb batteries and C and B Seen are good mid range options with proper back up and service.
Cheap Chinese stuff is disposable and variable but can be very effective.
You pays your money etc
These chaps know what they're doing:

Sponsor a few local events and riders too. Mine have been flawless over last winter. Apart from the first set I broke going otb. Despite being totally my fault they swapped with a new set foc. I was quite prepared to pay for a repair!
Nice guys too.
