The pivot bolt on my cube stereo keeps coming loose. Does anybody have any idea how to tighten this? There is a bolt on one side which you tighten with an allen key. However, the other side is not an Allen key and it just spins when it gets to a certain tightness.

I don't know, as I have never had a Cube, but do a search, as there have been issues in the past with them snapping. I would take it out, inspect it, then refit it using a suitable threadlock.

Normally on the other side there is a lozenge shaped nut as in the bottom left of this photo.  Is it possible that it has come lose and has fallen out.  It is possible to order new ones if so

I have a 2015 E stereo.
The pivot bolt came loose a couple of times when the bike was new, torqued it up and it would be loose after a couple of rides.
So i gave up on the torque wrench, and tightened it as much as i dared, been fine since.
If you’re ham fisted, get a shop to do it.

Or a blob of blue threadlock to stop it working lose.

There was quite a thread on here about removal of main pivots in Cube fs bikes

Is it an aluminium Stereo/Sting 140? The main pivot coming loose is a 'thing' on them, if you can get the existing one out ok and it can be saved, give it a good clean and degrease, do the same with the frame threads as far as possible and put it back together using blue threadlock. They're really nice to ride but the main pivot is a shit design, it's tricky to get to the bolt head (we need to remove the chainring on ours) so they get overlooked when you check the bike over because they're not easy enough to get to.
