I have searched to see I'm not going over old ground. But as above waiting on my C2w scheme and have sourced a Cube Stereo locally which the shop owner has agreed to keep . I didn't want to go over the top but at £4999 for a big battery , Zeb , Shimano drivetrain and bosch motor It seems good value. My mates have both spent between 7.5k to 8k on their bikes but It just dosen't sit right spending more on a bike than my car.
So anyway has anyone got one or give any tips. The reviews are good with only the fact it has a fairly rattly battery cover. Also what has anyone ditched their old bike when they got an ebike. My thinking is sell my Trek Slash and get a wee hardtail for local trails and maybe a bit of bike packing. Who knows.
Yep bought one a few weeks ago.
Very happy with it, obviously heavy so still getting used to the weight. Went for a ride last night and did 18 miles with 50% charge left.
No problems with the battery cover.
The only thing I'm changing at the moment is the brakes. I have hope tech 3 e4 on the full suss so swapping them over.
You'll enjoy it I'm sure.
I don't think you'll get better value for money anywhere else. I was going to get the SL but instead bought the TM for £5.5 with upgraded forks, shock, brakes etc. The Magura MT7's on it are just amazing. The only thing I've changed on it are to go with 160mm crank arms because I was getting a few pedal strikes. It's a great bike though.
