Hi,
I have a Cube Stereo 2015 Carbon number and I want to convert it to a 1* setup.
Question is on the down tube there is a big rectangular hole for the ICR but I will only using 1 'port' now. Current thinking is just to use duck tape for splash protection.
Has anyone converted one of these and sorted the issue in a nicer way?
Does it need sorting?
Does anyone have the 2016 model and can you tell me what Cube did about it?
Anyone have any other thoughts?

Don't worry about it, it's that low in the frame, water will run out anyway.
Some of the 2016 1x equipped bikes are coming through with a single cable 'plug' in a T shape.
I ran mine with the standard one without any issues at all & it appears to be impossible to buy the new single T shaped ones.

use on old bit of cable outer to hold the unused port in place. just cable tie the outer to the cable that comes out of the other port and it will have enough tension on it to keep it there.
I just left mine...nothing bad happened.
