Does x1 or x01/xx1 need really careful set up, my x1 is brand new and crunches something awful under heavy load? I have tried lots of barrel adjusting and swearing but it hasn't sorted it. Any ideas?
Which bit is crunching and when (jra/changing gear etc)? Not had any probs with mine. If be checking cable tension and chain length to start with.
Mine needed some adjustment during the first ride as cables stretched. Other than that its very smooth.
I had brand new sub5 out the box that had a bent mech hanger - worth checking all the basics/not that obvious in case?
Mine was fine!
X1 (and all 11spd SRAM) is very sensitive to b tension adjustment. Check this out and play around, it can make a huge difference to shifting performance.
