Just lost the rear section from my Mk2 front guard.
Last time I had a problem with these (broke a stay putting the bike into the car), I just sent them a couple of stamps and received the spare part by return of post.
Just checked the Crud site and they're now charging £6.50 for a pack of spare tips.
What gives? Can't believe people were going to the trouble of ordering whole sets of guards bit by bit!
Given the fact that the tips are designed to break away under stress, (which they do, incredibly easily), and the fact that my road bike has a fair amount of toe overlap, I might just dump these guards and buy some RaceBlades instead.
The other alternative is to glue the tips in place - anyone done this?
Bit disappointed with Crud for changing the policy, TBH.
