[Closed] Crown shape to suit frame headtube size?

Building up an old steel Cove frame as a rigid commuter, I've bought some Exotic carbon forks for it. I thought 1 1/8 straight steerer and some measurements were all I had to worry about.

I've fitted the headset race and bolted them up, but they look "funny". Looks like the crown shape is designed for a chunky MTB headtube rather than my old skinny headtube.

What's the dealio? Assume it's not going to cause any actual issues using them for a bit, but have I simply just bought the wrong shape forks?

Just looks like they use the same fork crown regardless of steerer size...no worries about issues but does look a bit pants (if that bothers you on a commuter bike)

It does bother me! Haha. I'll use it to test the A2C length then swap it for something more visually pleasing. Cheers.
