I'm changing the fork on my 2014 Stumpjumper (tapered headtube) from the OEM Revelation (tapered steerer) to a 2014 XFusion Trace with straight 1-1/8 steerer. The Trace is second hand (came off a Carbine with a tapered headtube) and the seller left what appears to be a crown race reducer on it:

I've fitted the fork and it's passed the car park test - feels ok, no noise or rattles. Anything I should be worried about?

I'm assuming the Race is from the previous owners headset but then as long as the chamfered face of that that crown race mates nicely with the bearing face it'll be fine.
