More info required. What headset? What frame ?If it's a reducer headset it won't fit the lower part of the fork as that part fits a 1.5 headset. The upper headset needs to be a reducer if your frame has a 1.5 non tapered head tube. Most crown races are headset specific.

Ps I have an fsa 1.5 headset and crown race that you could use on the lowers. Removed from new frame with new star nut and top cap £30

The headset is an FSA Big Pig R (R for reducer). My headtube is not tapered i.e. it is 1.5" at the top and the bottom. I bought the headset thinking I would but a normal 1.8" steer, but then got a good bargain on a tapered steerer fork. The upper headset is a reducer. The Fsa BIg Pig (non reducer) does have a 1.5" crown race so I assume that is all I need - wherever I may get one!

Yes it's the same as yours but not the reducer.

OK, if I can't get just the crown race you could be on - but my whole headset only cost me £32 anyway, could you come a bit lower? Would you sell just the crown race?

Will let you have it without the star nut as I'd like it as a spare and it's no use to you any way, for £28 then. It will cost £4 to post. You need more than the crown race as your lower cup is a reducer is it not. You will need the 1.5 lower cup no mater what.

The way the lower cup acts as a reducer is by virtue of the crown race. The race is for 1.5 " bearings, but with a hole for only 1.8" steerer. The cup is a full 1.5" cup.

I'll see if I can get the crown race on its own, but keep you in mind if not. Ta
