Anyone used one of these?

I have some straight steerer forks I want to use on a frame with a tapered head tube and wondered if this would work?

What headset are you planning to use?

I have an FSA integrated and a cane creek integrated. Both are for tapered from other bikes.

I've got a hope adaptor. Then you can put on whichever crown race you like.

I've fitted four or five bikes with the Hope one, no hassle with that at all.

SS one pictured is split, whereas the Hope is not. I think I'd prefer the Hope, so as not to have a big unsealed gap under my headset.

It does say it's for 45 degree bearings so might work if you can check what those headsets use.

FWIW, I have a spare Cane Creek Devolution "baseplate" (that's what the call it) I was planning to sell. That would definitely do the job.
