Morning all. snapped a spoke in my mavic crossrides about 19 months ago and they have been on a shelf ever since as i just can't find replacements.

im sure you could buy them in threes previously... so if anyone has a spare 1 or knows where i could get one then can you pipe up?

cheers!

I've got a spare unused silver one that I bought for a set of 2005 Crossrides that are both disc & V brake compatable. If I remember rightly the spoke lengths for those particular type of Crossrides are the same length for all sides of the wheels (i.e. drive side and disc brake side on rear. R & L on front).

Anyway, if a silver one is any good then best send me the measurement of the spoke-length you require and I'll have a check when I get home later.

you are a star. i think they are the same all round as i snapped a back, then nicked a front to replace it for a while.

id need the nip as well if you think you'd have it?

Yep, should have the nipple as well. It'll take a bit of searching to track it down though!I shoved a couple of the Mavic spokes into an On-One Twelfty seat post as spares when I was touring in Spain and never needed to use them. Obviously I'm gonna keep hold of one of them just in case. But yer welcome to the other one if it gets yer wheels rolling again. I'll just have to root around in the shed and dig out the seatpost 'cos the clamp broke so I chucked it into my massive pile of busted bike bits and fitted a new one.

Urmmm, let's see now, twenty quid should cover my costs 😉

Seriously though, you can have it as an early Christmas present. I'm always glad to help another budget wheel user out and it shouldn't cost me too much to post. Let's hope i can track the thing down! E-mail in profile, I'll mail you back when I've dug the spoke out for your address.
