You really shouldn't cycle the cracking coast path from mumbles to southgate and then come back via the nicholston valley as it is mostly footpath 😉

i rode the coastal cycle path from mumbles pier to swansea marina on monday it was great weather, but after about 40 miles i gave up, got fed up dodging people who were constantly walking on the cycle part of the path, maybe walkers cant see the big white cycle signs on the path and on sign posts, although by far the worst thing is dog walkers with small yappy dogs on those retractable leads, they walk one side of the track with the dog on the other side, one day one of those dogs is gonna get gerotted and end up mashed in someones spokes
