I've the offer on a killer deal on the new lauf grit SL forks when come out later this year. The grit has a 1.5 tapered steerer. I'm thinking if these for my croix de fer ti. The current fork/ headset is a 1 1/2" taper. Q is, Will the grit fit with a change of headset?

Are you asking if 1.5" tapered steerer is the same as a 1 1/2" steerer?
If so, yes it is. You will just need to move the crown race over if it isn't an integrated race. Otherwise you will need a new crown race.
