Asking on behalf of an aquaintance.
Would an MTB groupset including discs fit on the above, if fitted with flat bars.

Can't see why not. It has disc mounts and 135mm rear hub spacing which is all that matters I think.

I can't see why it wouldn't. Rear spacing is 135mm so the MTB hub will fit. They are a band on front mech so that is fine too. I may be missing something obvious. If it hits me I will let you know.

It should be fine, but I can't see why you'd want to.

It's got too short a top tube to be run sensibly with flat bars, surely?
I'd've thought the Roadrat in the long variant would have been a better bet.

Not sure what the ride position would be like with flat bars though. Also, would you get chain line issues running a triple?

It is worth noting that there is very little clearance for a knobbly on the back - even the supplied cx tyres are so close I can make them rub on the frame when I stamp on the power!
