i am sure that my uppers are creaking in the crown 😕
is this something that happens often?

checked all that and lubed everthing up thinking that would be that,but no.
i noticed that you can feel it in the crown if you hold it where the uppers plug in.

If you can feel play there then surely they aren't safe to ride. I know I wouldn't. How old are they? Which model? Have you spoke with Mojo?

its not play really just a kind of click if you lean into it hard.
but yes i shall speak to mojo.

For the last 2 summers I have had a new csu fitted to my fox vanillas due to a loose steer tube in the crown it causes a creak/ clicking noise my forks were originally new in autumn 08 it's quite handy as each time it's been replaced it's like having a new fork! If you have proof of purchase then give mojo a quick ring tell them that this is what's happend they will tell you to return the fork and you'll have a new csu fitted under warranty. Hopefully it wil go again on my forks so I can have some new kashima coated ones next year!
