I neglected to tighten up my HT2 crank bolts properly some time ago and the crank came loose. Since then it's been a bit creaky. I'm going to have a go at Loctite on the splines and over tightening the bolts to try and stop the creak (have tried grease and over tightening and it didn't work). What is the best Loctite compound to use, I was going to try 641 or does anyone have any better suggestions?

Loctite isn't going to make a difference on splines. Only need that stuff for keeping low torque small bolts in place.

Over tightening is not good.

Could be the bottom bracket. Load that up with loads more grease.

Or pull it all apart, thoroughly clean it up, pull the bearings and give them a clean and regrease, and ensure there's no grit or dust in there and likewise on the splines, the crank, bolts, etc. Grease all up and put back together at the recommended torque and see what happens.

Chances are it could be something entirely different creaking and coincidental that it started creaking when the crank came loose. If it's a full sus, 9 times out of 10 I find it's a pivot or shock bushing but sounds like it's the crank.
