got a fabric scoop radius, it’s crazy comfy but it freaks like crazy and it’s doing my head in.

Is there any way to remedy this? It’s the cheap cromo version if that affects anything?

Try squirting penetrating oil into the where the rails meet the plastic.

That's what they tend to do unfortunately, grease saddle rails and horse it up...it might stop for a while.

Will try get some lube in there. Anyone got experience of the better ones? Titanium rails do the same?

Mine creaked like mad then I loosened off the clamp, it made some more creaking noises as I did so like some tension was being released , then I re-tightened it and it's been silent since. Not sure if that helps but worth a try/ FWIW I have a Scoop shallow and that has been  creakless for 3 years so I don't think it's entirely the design.

Creaking suggests movement so I would think it's more than likely the interface between the seatpost and rails rather than the saddle.

I have two Fabric Scoops and one Charge Scoop and none of them creak.

I have a saddle that creaks. I drip chain oil into where the rails enter the plastic base as suggested above. Seems to do the trick.

Ok so what’s a similar shape to a scoop radius that doesn’t creak as bad?!

Yes to experiencing same with my Fab Cell radius on a Lev.

I found for a short time after cleaning and greasing that creaking quietened down a fair bit but didn’t ladt long.

Wondering if it’s a warranty job of replacing the saddle as surely it’s a sign that the rails aren’t fitted in factory to the saddle plastic underneath properly???

it’s driving me mad as it’s on a new carbon full suss that I want to have running smoothly and quietly.

Also have a Fabric thingmy. .. Steel rails  I think.

Creaks a fair bit. Annoying as my old Spoon never did, but I like the fact that the saddle is waterproof. Why aren't there more saddles without any stitching?

Interesting... All my wtb saddles have creaked. Every one of them and I've had the posh ones.

So I switched to fabric, and have 3 ... So far none of them have creaked.

It's damn annoying though.

This isn't confined to cheap saddles!

My Ti Phenom Expert creaks like mad. Not investigated it yet but I'm pretty sure it's not the seatpost/ rail clamp interface. I think it's where the rails enter the saddle as people have said above.

Grease rails, clamps, clamping surfaces and bolts. Copper slip is good. Squirt a bit of oil into the nose and tail areas on on the saddle if that doesn't fix.  Usually the clamping surfaces.

First thing I did was clean and grease saddle rails and re install. Did nothing. Pretty sure it’s coming from where rails enter the plastic
