I have just swapped my alu Kore bars for some Superstar carbon bars. I have had carbon bars before on both road and mtb. I have a raceface stem. Since fitting these bars i have had an annoying creak. I have torqued everything to the correct spec. What have i done wrong?

Try using some carbon paste.

The bars have a quite heavily textured area where the stem clamps.Does it still need the paste?
