Mine was rubbish when i was invited, all random sizes or very little discount on the stuff i did want.

My initial thoughts were that if I wanted to look like a dick in a Tri suit, I'd save money and ride in my vest and pants instead

I was happy - picked up a jersey I've been eyeing for a while at half price...
I guess the principle is the same as with any sale - only buy the stuff you'd get anyway, and don't be enticed into buying stuff you don't really want just cos it's a 'bargain'!

There's lots of components I would have bought if they had been at a discount. I'm fine for costumes.

not sure why they make it a private sale, everyone they send these emails to dont want the crap they have on the private sales.

Why not keep it an open sale then all of the plebs who think they need certain products will buy the crap as no one else wants it.
