Is this a Euro / Pound thing, or is CRC continuously raising their RRP prices to make it seem like things would be on offer? It used to be that they where really cheap compared to a local Finnish shop, now a lot of products are on 30% discount and still the same price as the local RRP (or 40-50% discount and same price as RRP in Germany)...
It's not CRC that raise the RRP (unless it's a Hotlines distributed item).
doesn't CRC = Hotlines?
Always assumed this was the case
Yes. But if the OP is looking at (say) a Shimano item, it's not CRC that set the RRP for that in the UK, it's Madison.
Yes Batfink. Re-read Druidh's post 😉
EDIT: Too slow
Now I thought it was now not legal to show savings from RRP unless that item had actually been sold at RRP. IIRC showing RRP at all is frowned upon!

Nowt wrong with showing RRP. However, there is some legislation about quoting sale prices if you've never sold the item at that price in at least one outlet. That doesn't quite explain how CRC can sell Hotlines/Nukeproof/Ragley stuff at anything less than RRP from day 1 of (or even before) it's actual availability.
Thanks for the replies, I guess it's not a CRC thing then, rather something to do with pound / euro currencies.
