I find the new design of products in tiles rather than a list to scroll through quite iratating, especially when browsing through some large product groups to see what is available.
Anyone else think so or am I just stuck in my ways?
I prefered the way you could search for things like colours/size/etc.. of things in the list whereas now you have to click on each to find this out
I preferred the old way too. Seems to be more of a have a wander around and look site now rather than go straight to what you need
Would be good if they included the option for the old layout for searching reasons as oink pointed out but at least they've added a 'show only items in stock' option and there's hover over on each item to show the options.
Email them and tell them what you think, I found the tile/gallery type views irritating and find it harder to find things and it also comes up as most popular rather than listed a-z, I told them and suggested there should be the option to switch from gallery to list view, they said they would pass on my comments to the management ... whether they will or not though, eh?
I was looking for something earlier and thought the same; looks better, but far harder to browse.
I prefered the old way as well.
Same as above harder to find stuff when scrolling the page.
Hmmmm, I've not really noticed any bother with the new look but haven't had an intensive trawl through it.....
Don't like it at all.
Looking on the bright side, it'll save me money - just had a bit of a browse and it's noticeably slower and harder to find things so I reckon that there's a lot less chance of me impulse buying - I'll just go on there and get something specific if/when I want it...
Suspect that that's not what CRC intended but...
Doesn't fit very well with my IE 'Letter Box Edition' when browsing it at work...
Not keen. Sort orders appear a bit odd as well. Looking at brakes earlier, and despite supposedly having sorted by brand, things were pretty well jumbled up together.
Just seen that. Why change something that works? I actually used their site more for the layout than the prices, if anything the lists would've been better to fit more compact on a page, not more spread out.
It's a good layout for browsing clothes, but not for components.
UKbikestore here I come.
Tell you what does p me off, things like Joplin for £80, oh great I thought, oh look the sale one is a one off shop soiled one that isn't in stock.
Old eat, it's too easy for the wife to see what I'm looking at now!
what a mess.
crap...end of.
