Anyone else having issues with orders this week? Ordered yesterday lunch time - all in stock and still processing with no reply to today's email asking what's going on...

Saying that last months order was cocked up too, time to sack them off for someone else I think! I remember the good old days when orders were dispatched within a few hours!

Seem to be about the same for me. 2-3 days from ordering, depending on time of order. They are still free on all orders under a tenner, so can't grumble.

Been next day or day after for me over the past few weeks, all free delivery too. No complaints.

fella may have printed your order, gone to pick it - forgot where he was/what he was supposed to be doing - sacked that off and went to the pub?

Or maybe not. I'm sure they have a psychic algorithm that divines how much you need it and prioritises it higher. Sadly the boffins and the managers failed to agree if 10 was high prio or low prio - so now it works in reverse.. (at least it seems that way for me and stuff I need mega urgently)

next day for me last week though - hope it lands tomorrow!

Ordered bars and chainset Saturday and it turned up Tuesday in what appeared to be a bike box. No complaints here

Ordered 16.30 last Friday, turned up first thing saturday morning. It was only a £1.99 cable guide but I was very happy.

Ordered some bars last week. 4 days later still not despatched so emailed them. They said the bars weren't in stock and cancelled the order despite the website stating they had stock. Annoyingly they had the 2013 version of the bars in stock and cheaper so ordered those and they're on the way to sunny Oz.

Not the store they used to be are they?

Having said that, ordered on the 6th and arrived in the Southern Hemisphere 2 days later.

Ordered a stack of stuff of CRC, Merlin and On One this week for a bike build on Monday.

The Merlin stuff arrived on Tuesday.

The CRC stuff was dispatched Tuesday but not with me yet.

On one messed the order up and it has only just been dispatched.

Generally CRC deliveries have been pretty good for me, but Merlin always come up trumps. Doesn't seem to matter if it's a £10 chainring or hundreds of pounds of fork and groupset.

in a nutshell, this. New website roll-out was a debacle and whilst its been slowly improved it seems to have rubbed off on the rest of their business. Gone from being my go-to shop of the last 10 years to almost the last resort. One of my few recent orders was a pair of 5.10 Karver womens. They have 3 listed, 2012, 2013 and undeclared year. All have (different) pics of the same style of shoe with the lace cover. I ordered the 2012 assuming undeclared was old stock (no lace cover when it was first introduced) and guess what, the pair I get has no lace cover. So they went back for a refund. Not a huge deal but hardly inspired me to return to them.

I neve thought I'd see the day but I think Halfords has taken more business from me the last 6 months - free (and in my experience very rapid) delivery on orders over 30 quid (or get it delivered to store), some terrific deals and free returns to local store (as convenient as Collect+ for me).

They do have a Downhill team but I'm not sure if they are doing the deliveries in the offseason or not.

Only used them for the first time last week. ordered a stem, less than £6, on Wednesday evening and it was delivered Friday morning. Does sound like their shipping is a bit hit and miss.

Ordered at 3pm today. Dispatch email at 5pm

which, from similar threads, means very little...

http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/crc-first-bad-experience-xt-brake-order-cancelled

Got an email to say it had been shipped Monday.

Wednesday still nothing in the post. Then get an email at 14:00 to say it has been shipped again, very strange.

Then get an email at 16:00 to say the brake is out of stock and has been cancelled from my order

Only used them for the first time last week. ordered a stem, less than £6, on Wednesday evening and it was delivered Friday morning. Does sound like their shipping is a bit hit and miss.

the criticism stems from the fact they used to be uniformly excellent, next day seemed to be the norm. They are hardly rubbish now, but in a competitive market their rep has gone down and their custom with it.

Dispatch email at 10:30 on 7th.

Delivered on the 8th.

Can't grumble.

Seem to be 2 or 3 days for me from Chain. Merlin have been next day on everything I have ordered this month. But have spent over £1200 with them, so has been a parcel delivery rather than the postie. On One seem to have had off days and good days. One set of wheels appeared next day. Second set ( first ones were faulty) ordered 10:30 on a Thursday for next day and appeared Tuesday. I am going to buy some more wheels from then soon. Lets hope I get the next day on those please.

To me it just seems like they used to often deliver faster than they promised, now they generally just deliver as fast as promised. Churlish to complain about that.

CRC and Merlin seem very good at the moment. Wiggle now always take a day longer

The thing is, CRC have never been that bad they drop out of my top 3*. I will use them everyday of the week over the likes of Tredz/Evans/JEJames/Rutland, as while the odd long delivery sometimes happens with CRC, with others it seems to be the norm.

Have always had very good delivery times, until last week. Ordered an instock item 10am Monday, arrived 4:50pm Friday. Chasing it up apparently Parcel Force issues in MK. No surprise there then.

The other week I ordered some brakes from CRC on a Friday lunch time, they arrived at 10am on Saturday so no complaints from me!

I rarely use CRC now; the prices don't seem market leading anymore, and delivery always seems to take a day longer than others. Saying that, I've always found their customer service very good.

Order on the 8th Nov, CRC claim dispatch on the 9th.

Show as received by parcel force on the 12th, should arrive today on the 14th.

Poor.

I guess CRC may be forcing people to pay for carriage if they want in the next few days.
