Did a quick search but couldn't find an answer - for anyone who has bought a bike through chain reaction on a cycle to work scheme - were you able to use the British cycling 10% discount as well?

I'm guessing not but if so it increases the savings from 27% to 37% on a £1300 bike (not including the end payment, whatever that is...).

Going to get some details from work on the scheme this week.

Also, 27% off with an additional 10% off isn’t 37% off...

£1300 - 37% is £819

£1300 - 27% is £949
£949 -10% is £854.10

Original price of £1300, £1000 C2W voucher which works out at £55 per month paid back after salary deduction, so £660. Plus the extra £300 on top of the voucher.

660 plus 300=960 - 73.8% of 1300 (was rounding the % down)

If total original price is £1170 (1300-10%) then:

660 plus 170=830 - 63.8% of 1300

26.2% off or 36.2% off of £1300 😉

All hypothetical anyway as you can't use both the c2w and 10% off voucher 🙁

On a side note, why does the 'plus' symbol not appear on these forums?

Ok, further question - the scheme is the Evans cycle to work scheme, looks like these vouchers can only be used at Evans? 🙁
