Looking to upgrade my double chainset which has a 175 crank
Just wondering if there was a lot of difference between this and a 165 ?
Is it harder to pedal, more effort cos of Less leverage ?
Or such a small difference not noticeable?

Apparently is makes sod all difference power wise so I hear from a youtube video.

But having tried a 165mm it is uncomfortable I found.

Better ground clearance, but you'll need a faster cadance than a 175 crank which some people like and some don't. Just remember to increase your seatpost height by 10mm too.

I think there's a fair bit of difference, others reckon hardly any.

Seems to be a really personal thing.

My big bike has 165mm cranks and I do pedal it round a lot, always feels very twiddly to me.

Ok nice one
I think I will stay with 175 then
Would have changed if everyone was saying that there was a big difference
Thank you
