My technical knowledge of parts interchangeability is next to none,
I would like to put shorter cranks on the wife’s bike it’s 2x10 Shimano deore XT with FC-622/625/627 175mm Cranks
Can anybody tell me if there are any 165s which would fit?

Pretty much any standard Shimano crankset will do the trick.

11speed rings will work with a 10speed drivetrain, or if the bolt circle diameters are the same, you can transfer your existing rings over.

Its only XT,XTR,SLX,Zee, and Saint in 165mm MTB shimano I believe
Sram do some too
