Hi Chaps
I've had a set of Candy 3s for about 3 months, not that much use at all - I've serviced them once, and now they've locked solid. Is this something I should just send back for warranty repair, or just suck it up and buy a service kit for £12?
To be honest, I'm not impressed - 3 months of frankly light use shouldn't cause bearings to seize, my old candys with bushings lasted far longer.
Cheers
Ricks
I would service them and fill them with grease.
Given the recent monsoons, I am not surprised at an increase in CB expiries.

send 'em back.
2Pure are great.
The problem is, I only stripped them down about a month ago - and I've not had river crossings, or really deep mud.
I would cross over to Shimano for bearing life, but I just don't get on with the feel - I like a degree of float.
The warranty on Candy 3s is 5 years IIRC. 2pure will look after you.
Send 'em back and buy Shimano next time.
