Please can the STW hive help on this one - I have just seen a nice set of wheel on CRC on sale, but don't state whether they are supermax compatible. My guess is that they would be, but would love to hear from anyone that knows.
They should be. All the Lefty axles are the same. The only thing different on the newer Lefty Max is the brake adapter.
I've never heard of a Lefty Max only wheelset....
There's a guy running a set, on his trigger team. Check it out on the Trigger Bargain thread. Not sure whether he needed a brake adaptor or not though.

There are 2 versions of the super max, the 29r one from 2 years agi isn't super max or something like that as my mate found out.
