Generous fitting or not waist wise?
A bit of stretch so I would say yes generous. Are you thinking of riding in them? (I would suggest not)
no just to wear casually!
I'd also say they're on the generous side (with the amount of material used overall - comfort rather than fashionable fit)
If you know what size you need, it's worth shopping around as you can usually find them discounted online.
My Only (very minor) gripe is that I have to wear a T shirt / vest top as the elasticated type waist band sorta chaffs against my skin. Otherwise, can't fault them & been using them for many years.
Chris
I've just bought 3 pairs of these shorts. I normally buy either a 30" or a 32" waist and 30" is ample in these. I don't think I've ever worn such comfortable shorts!
They were on sale at £26.25 at Debenhams down from £35.
Play.com had kiwi shorts down to £10.26 a pair!!!
I find them, shorts and trousers average fitting. 34" waist and 34" fits fine. The pro stretch ones are nice too.
Yes the normal trousers are very comfy eg for walking and come in different lengths, the shorts I love and wear all summer. There is a fleece lined version of the trouser which is almost always too hot, I suppose if you were just standing around it would be good.
