Front and back tyres, Kenda Kommano 35c both have cracks running the length of the wheel at the top of the sidewall.

I run them at around 70psi due to being a fatty, and allowing for temperature increases in the tropical heat.

Is this all going to go horribly wrong and I'm going to end up with shredded rubber everywhere some ride, or do I not need to worry about it.

Good excuse to buy some faster tyres

Likely will be fine for years to come, but what are the consequences of catastrophic failure? I replaced a GP4000 with minimal wear (but a good few years old) for that very reason, it's just not worth the risk.

I had this with some Continental tyres that were less than a year old.

Contacted them via email and they sent me some new ones for free!

Same with some floaters from on one... They sent replacements but I ran the cracked ones for a year and they are still fine. That's including down to 10psi so loads of flextime wall action.

Contacted them. I don't want to put my marathons back on, even though they cost loads, Kommandos are fairly quick and grip well, but wear by looking at them.
