A mate cracked his WTB i29 rim casing a stream 'jump'. There were 2 cracks across the rim through the spoke holes approximately 180 degrees apart and the spokes were pretty much unwound at these points with a good couple of mm of thread showing.
Did the rim cracking loosen the spokes or did the loose spokes facilitate the rim cracking ?
Just curious...
