Do you think this is possible to repair? Its a Kona Minute.

eRRRmmmm hell no, not on a weld join. personally I would bin or have a massive plate welded onto it if possible.

but then I'm no eggspurt neither.

I was given the frame by a mate and thought worth investigating if it could be fixed. Maybe I'll just use a couple of zip ties for now!!

Of course it [i]can[/i] be fixed, whether it will ever be as strong or good as before is entirely dependant on [i]how[/i] it's fixed, and whether its cost effective to do it properly is an entirely different matter!

Not worth the bother in my opinion, a bodge fix might hold for short while under light duty, but I wouldn't think it'd last long without proper repair with any appropriate pre and post-weld heat treatments for the specific type of Alu used etc.
